5A Law Firm LLP was founded by five former judges or judicial officers: Ali Mohammed Ali, Amare Ashenafi Aragie, Almaw Wolie Ambe, Alemu Korme Kebede, and Ashenafi Yirga Nigatu. At founding, the group included two former Federal Supreme Court Cassation Bench Presiding Judges and brought 114+ years of combined judicial and legal experience. Following Almaw Wolie Ambe's departure on 13 June 2026, the firm's current partner team comprises Ali Mohammed Ali, Amare Ashenafi Aragie, Alemu Korme Kebede, and Ashenafi Yirga Nigatu.
