Alemu Korme Kebede is a founder and Principal Partner of 5A Law Firm LLP, bringing a unique combination of judicial experience and business acumen through his law degree and MBA, with over 18 years of experience.

Alemu's career spans the judiciary and government revenue administration. As Legal Expert at the Ethiopian Federal Revenue Authority, he gained specialized knowledge of tax law, customs, and revenue matters. His judicial experience as Appellate Court Judge, First Instance Court Judge, and Assistant Judge at the Oromia Supreme Court gives him deep insight into litigation strategy and judicial reasoning.

Today, Alemu shapes the firm's competition law practice, advising when transactions or distribution models raise merger-control, dominance, or restrictive agreement concerns. He has designed compliant selective-distribution and pricing frameworks that have withstood regulatory scrutiny.

Alemu represents clients in arbitration and court proceedings and lectures part-time at Rift Valley University.
