Ali Mohammed Ali is the founder and Managing Partner of 5A Law Firm LLP. With over 32 years of distinguished service in Ethiopia's judiciary and government, Ali brings unparalleled insight to complex transactions and regulatory matters.

As Presiding Judge of the Federal Supreme Court Cassation Bench for more than a decade, Ali shaped Ethiopian jurisprudence on commercial, corporate, and investment matters. His tenure as Head of the Amhara Regional Anti-Corruption Office gave him deep expertise in compliance, governance, and regulatory enforcement.

Today, Ali leads the firm's transactional practice, advising domestic and international clients on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, DFI-backed financings, and corporate restructurings. He is known for clear decision memos, seamless coordination with international counsel, and an ability to integrate corporate, regulatory, and financing workstreams to keep transactions on schedule.
